Rosa Contreras

Toddler assistant Teacher

SINCE 2019

Rosa (Rosy) came from a family of educators, and always had a passion for teaching. Her teaching experience started during her teens when she worked at a local preschool in her hometown of San Luis Potosi, Mexico. From that point on, she knew that nurturing young minds was the path for her.

While Ms. Rosy was studying to be an educator in San Luis Potosi, she was introduced to the Montessori method for teaching and fell in love with it. She moved to the US and completed her Early Childhood (3-6) teaching program at the North American Montessori Center.

Rosa’s love for teaching and passion for Montessori education brought her to New World. She cherishes her time nurturing our youngest minds and each day, and they are captivated by her fun loving spirit.

We understand the importance of nurturing a child’s natural ability to care for others, help those in need, and learn through first-hand adventures. Our students know the impact they can have locally and globally.

The Montessori approach respects the needs of each child, allowing them to develop at their own pace. This increases confidence and creates opportunities for rich exploration at every stage of learning.
